Kurt is originally from the Pittsburgh area and has been based in Pocahontas County for over a decade.
His work has appeared on the covers of Highland Outdoors and Blue Ridge Outdoors, in Freehub Magazine’s West Virginia Trails edition, and in the official West Virginia State Travel Guide.
He shoots commercial campaigns, action sports, tourism content, real estate, weddings, events, and portraits. Recent destination work includes building the Mon Forest Towns regional asset library, months on the road shooting dozens of locations across 8 counties, plus ongoing work with WV CVBs and destination partners.
He shoots because he loves showing off wild places and West Virginia landscapes, and those short-lived moments in the mountains that are worth keeping.
He’s a Certified Professional Photographer through PPA and certified for commercial drone work. Shoots stay planned and low pressure, and you walk away with clean stills and video you can use for web, social, print, and press.
